Marinha Real Estate was founded by João Guerra, and entrepreneur in love with life .
With a background in economics, marketing and sales, after working for 15 years in the FMCG business in companies like Mars, Unilever and Heineken, João started his first business in the sports industry together with former Portuguese football legend Luís Figo. Now he runs a Sports Marketing Agency, 51 Luís Figo Football Academies and a platform for Player Scouting and Management
In the meantime João fell in love with Real Estate and the impact it has in people’s lives. João started working as a freelancer mediating deals in partnership with the top real estate agencies in Portugal, helping friends buying and selling properties and finding the best real estate solutions for the lifestyle they ambitioned. João also became and investor and a developer for new and rehabilitation projects.
With this track record, João felt it was time to launch a new and ambitious project, making the difference in a very exciting and consolidated market the needs to push its boundaries to a more holistic approach.

Marinha Real Estate was born.

Miguel Botelho de Sousa is João’s “Partner in Crime” and another entrepreneur in love with life.
Also coming from a business management, marketing and sales background, working in FMCG for 20 years, Miguel joined João as a partner in his sports ventures from an early start.
Later Miguel had a irrefusable invitation to become the Administrator for a Governmental Company in the area of Defence for a 3 year mandate.
With his mandate concluded, Miguel now embraces the real estate world filled energy and a fresh vies for this market.
